Obama, you the man

I had a softspot for Hillary, but as I read Obama's book "The audacity of hope" I have been converted.

In the book, he comes across as unpretentious, empathic and very perceptive. His vocabulary is superb. :)

As you listen to his "race" speech, you get a sense of his understanding of the complex issues and how he understands both sides of the argument.

I am very impressed with his oratory and personality. There must be something about him that has enabled him to stand toe to toe with Clinton machine, especially when he had very minimal recognition to start with against already established Clinton brand.

And more I see this nomination race prolong, more I lose respect for Clintons. She seems to do anything to get elected. No matter what the outcome of the primaries are, Barack Obama has already made history: with his famous speech on race, with involving youth’s in democratic process, and by being in a position where no African American has ever reached before.

The title of the book was inspired by Reverand Wright, the same man who made Obama go on the offensive and deliver this race speech.

If you read the book, you kinda get a sense of why he is so good is what he says and how he says it...

In the book, Obama seems to have great for the Clintons when they were in power but I guess, that has changed now.. :)
