Countdown to the new ruler of Nepal: Prachanda

Prachanda has given his ultimatum to the king: Leave the palace by May 27th or else....

.... or else he wants go public with the information that he holds no constitutional power (yet) yet, but he has the supreme moral authority to circumvent all democratic processes and storm into the Royal palace brandishing his trademark 'Hammer and Sickle' and declare Nepal a Republic.

"Ayo Gurkhali" suddenly takes a very illegal connotation. :icry: :confus:

The Royal palace is no stranger to violence. Recent tragedy has seen the palace drenched in royal blood and we are only too familiar with Prachanda painting the country red with the blood of 1000s of Nepaliz. Judging by his recent comments, his unquenchable thirst for blood hasn't be vanquished... not until he feasts on the Head Honcho himself ie. the king. >:(

The symbolic significance of Narayanhiti palace in the heart of Kathmandu, can't be overstated. If it wasn't for the residents of No. 10 Darbar Marg, we would all be wearing Dhotis now. |-|

Maybe, Prachanda has a valid point when he says, he wants to herald Nepal's new dawn by performing a bloody sacrificial rite in the palace.

Nepali tradition allows sacrificial slaughtering when embarking in any new endeavour. So far, only animals have served as gifts to god, but for this auspicious occassion, and with the "secular" Moaists prists in control, I guess, its OK to have humans sacrificed.

Its a shame, the monarchy is now a tiny flickering flame, waiting to be snubbed out. The king doesn't seem to have made attempts to come out fighting like a cornered feral beast.

The King should learn from Hillary Clinton's tenacity as she makes her own last stand. Forget Rocky Balboa, I have no doubt in my mind, even Rocky Marciano is proud of Hillary.

So in these final days, and in the name of the journalists and the aficionados of democracy, who has reprimanded the King and made him a scapegoat for too long for all the problems that 'Girija his posse' are responsible for, the King can perform final duty for his country and be the sacrificial goat for the good of the Nepali nation... :naught:

Judge, jury and executioner, that's our Prachanda. :naught:

Wedding huh ?

Jenny Bush, the daughter of US President George W Bush has got married. I woke up this morning and the first thing that came to my mind was the bombing of weddings by US forces in Iraq and Afganistan !! :(

Sooner or later, I will have to get hitched myself so I've kinda been stacking the pros and cons of marriage. Here is the what the latest research suggests : Marriage without children the key to bliss

Yesterday, I read somewhere that men marry their mothers, not literally, of course. :)

Is it mandatory now that the bride and groom do a special dance to entertain the crown ? There seem to be profusion of crazy dance videos of newly wed couples in youtube.
Here is a news compilation.

so nicely clearly you're gagging for it...

I love British TV simply because the humour is so much more abrasive than on American shows.

This was aired few days ago ...on the "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" chat show .. He is the biggest chat show host on British TV right now...

I don't know what kinda impression people have of the BBC but you can get away with just about anything if its humourous...

WARNING : contains strong language

Jonathan interviews Gwyneth Paltrow

Its shocking, isn't it ?? Even bad boy Robert Downey Jr. had to hide his face in the back room..
