Update: Exclusive: न्यू योर्कमा राष्ट्रिय आविष्कार केन्द्रका अध्यक्ष डा. महावीर पुनको स्वागत र अन्तर्कृया कार्यक्रम भव्यतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएकोछ। सो समारोहमा राष्ट्रिय आविष्कार केन्द्रको लागि $६५ हजार २६२+ संकलन भएकोछ भने आयोजक मध्येका दुई सँस्थाहरूले डा. पुन नेपाल फर्किनु अघि एक हप्ताभित्र अनुदान हस्तांतरण गर्नेछन्। खुशीको कुरा- टेक्सासका नेपालीले उठाएको $७५ हजार डलरलाई न्यू योर्कका नेपालीले उछिन्ने छाँट देखिएकोछ। यहीं उछिनापाछिनमा लागेर नेपालीहरूले डा. पुनको नेपाल बनाउने मेसो र लहलहैमा अमेरिकामा आयोजित ५३ मध्ये ४३ वटा कार्यक्रमबाट पौने तीन लाख डलर उठाईसकेकाछन्। अनुदानदाताहरूको अपडेट सविस्तार तल समाचारमा पढ्नुहोस्:
डा. पुनको सवल नेतृत्वमा राष्ट्रिय आविष्कार केन्द्रले नेपालमा कोरोना महामारीका बेला १५ हजारभन्दा बढी पिपिई नेपालका सातै प्रदेशका तीन सय अस्पताल र स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रहरूलाई नि:शुल्क वितरण गर्न सफल गरिएकोछ भने ३६ हजार ५ सय व्यक्तिगत पिपिई र २४ हजारभन्दा बढी फेससिल्ड नि:शुल्क वितरण गरेर हजारौं नेपाली स्वास्थ्यकर्मी र महामारीको जोखिममा परेका नेपालीहरूको ज्यान जोगाउन सफल भएकोछ।

न्यू योर्क कार्यक्रममा डा. पुनलाई अनुदान हस्तांतरण गर्ने संघसंस्था र व्यक्तित्वहरूमा अधिकार $15,000; शेर्पा किदूग अमेरिका $8,000+; अग्नि सांगपांग राई ग्रूप $8,071; मुस्तांग किदूग युएसए $5001; मगर संघ अमेरिका $5,000+; कानूनविद केशवराज सेढाई $3,000; आंग डाली शेर्पा $3,000; युनाईटेड किरात राई अर्गनाईजेसन $2,021; तामांग सोसाइटी अफ अमेरिका $1,452; अष्टमाया फाउण्डेसन (समीर महर्जन/सूर्यश्रेष्ठ महर्जन) $1,000; बिमला जिरेल $1,000; श्रामति जांगमु शेर्पा $1,000; वुमन फर कज(WFC) $500, Thamel NYC Bar $500; हेबन्लीपाथ यएसए $551; रामेछाप अमेरिका समाज $500, सिद्धार्थ गुरूंग $३००, जुबि गौचन परिवार $३००, न्यू योर्क डा. पुन कार्यक्रम आयोजक समूह $1,340 र कार्यक्रम हलमा व्यक्तिगत अनुदानदाताहरूबाट उठेको नगद रकम $5,882 (सबै नामावली अपडेट प्रकासित गरिदै) आदि छन्। कार्यक्रममा उपस्थित भएर अनुदान हस्तांतरण गर्ने ईच्छित संघसंस्था र महानुभावहरूको लर्को नै रहेको थियो।
न्यू योर्क कार्यक्रमको हल र खाजाकोको प्रायोजन शेर्पा किदूक अमेरिकाले गरेको थियो।
राष्ट्रिय आविष्कार केन्द्रले ३५ जनाभन्दा युवा वैज्ञानिक र अनुसंधानकर्ताहरूको ८ वटा प्रोडक्टहरूलाई पुरा लगानी र मेनरशीपमा निर्माणको अन्तिम चरणमा पुगेको जनाएकोछ।
Why we are hosting this event ?
As you may be aware of the tremendous works of National Innovation Center (NIC) under the selfless and steadfast leadership of Dr. Pun during the Coronavirus Pandemic that Center had produced and distributed more than 15,000 PPEs to more than 300 hospitals, primarily healthcare and coronavirus isolation centers and Coronavirus Testing & Treatment Hospitals of 58 districts of all 7 provinces in Nepal and that is distributed free of cost. Besides this, NIC, is working on dozens of different projects that target different Areas of Innovation. Currently, several dozens of Nepal’s brightest, young, aspiring scientists are working day and night to shine the light of Nepal’s future. Dr. Pun and his brain-child, National Innovation Center is the only hope we can better our motherland in the 21st Century’s digitally competitive world.
