Handover of Responsibilities to the Newly Elected Executive Committee of the NRNA New Jersey Chapter Completed

New Jersey – The handover ceremony of responsibilities to the newly elected Executive Committee of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) New Jersey Chapter has been successfully completed. In the association’s election held on August 16–17, Krishna Prasad Adhikari was elected unopposed as President, and he subsequently nominated a nine-member Executive Committee.

At the handover ceremony of the New Jersey Chapter, the Chief Guest, Satendra Shah (New Jersey), Central President of NRNA NCC of USA, administered the oath of office to the executive officers and members. Along with Chief Guest Shah, distinguished guests including former NRNA ICC Vice President Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar (New Jersey), NRNA ICC Advisor Bishwo Baral (New Jersey), NRNA ICC North America Deputy Coordinator Sanjiv Shrestha (New Jersey), and NRNA NCC USA Advisor Renu Sharma Sapkota (New Jersey) jointly presented the certificates of assumption of office. The program was facilitated by the outgoing President of the NRNA New Jersey Chapter, Bhakta Gurung.

The ceremony was addressed by the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, and guest speakers, including former NRNA ICC North America Coordinator and Acting Central President of the Prabas Nepali Samparka Samiti America, Sammar Budhathoki (New Jersey); NRNA ICC Member Surya Mohan Tiwari (New Jersey); President of the New Jersey Nepali Society, Kalyan Shrestha; Editor of Nepalism.com and Advisor to the Prabas Nepali Samparka Samiti America, Pradeep Pariyar Thapa; General Secretary of the New Jersey Nepali Society, Krishna Lamichhane; and social worker Manish Karn. They extended their best wishes for a successful tenure to the newly elected Executive Committee.
