City of Jersey City and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Mission-USA celebrated Equality Day on the auspicious occasion of 131st birth anniversary of equality legend Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on April 16, 2022. Celebrating Equality Day, Mayor Steven Fulop declared City Proclamation.
The event was hosted at the city hall with Buddha bandana, music and food festival. Guest speakers remembered Dr. Ambedkar as international hero and pioneer for equality in India who inspired rest of the world.
