Nepalism.com’s ChangeMakers honors the trailblazers of our society. It is an annual listing that recognizes individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions, inspired others, and stood out through their impactful work.
Exclusive: — New Jersey- In a powerful annual tradition, Nepalism.com has officially opened nominations for ChangeMakers 2025 (USA & Canada): People Who Made a Difference— an initiative dedicated to honoring the Nepali American trailblazers shaping our communities through service, leadership, innovation, and transformative impact.
For years, Nepalism.com’s ChangeMakers list has recognized individuals and organizations who have made remarkable contributions to society, inspired others through their work, and upheld the spirit of Nepali identity with pride and purpose. The 2025 edition continues this legacy by celebrating those whose actions have created positive change across the United States and Canada.

This recognition is reserved for those who have uplifted society, contributed to community development, or helped represent Nepali identity in meaningful ways through their professional or social endeavors. Nominees must exemplify ethical conduct; those involved in unethical practices or activities that have caused harm to society—past or present—will be deemed ineligible.
The nomination deadline is December 25, 2025, and the official announcement of the ChangeMakers 2025 list will be made at the end of the year.
A Legacy of Honoring Excellence
The ChangeMakers initiative has grown to become a respected platform for acknowledging both individual and organizational leadership:
• 2024: Out of 20 ChangeMakers selected, 6 were women (30%), 14 were men (70%), and 2 organizations were honored.
• 2023: Among 16 awardees, an impressive 13 were women (81.25%), 3 were men (18.75%), and 5 organizations were recognized.
• 2022: Of the 8 selected individuals, 5 were women, representing 62.5%.
• 2021: The second edition featured 47 individuals and organizations, with women comprising 11 honorees (27.5%).
• 2020: The inaugural edition honored 85 individuals and institutions, including 15 women (22%).
This consistent rise in the recognition of women achievers reflects not only their growing leadership across sectors but also the evolving progress of society at large. The Nepalism family proudly celebrates this advancement as an authentic representation of social change.
